Ok dudes, brace yourself...my beta was (drumroll...)
621
This blog is a haven for practical, realistic, sharp-witted girls who have grown weary of unicorn-riding, rainbow-kissing, "babydust"-spewing nitwits.
In Feb of 2010, the girls were attacked by a vicious monster, wielding the powerful Club of Censorship. Their collective strength could not be denied and they soon reconvened...with a wit more biting, a resolve more steadfast, and a powerful weapon of their own: Freedom of Speech!
Welcome to OUR shiny, new blog.
Newbies Welcome!
DUDE!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW! WTF??? It's a long way from November's negative beta, isn't it? This is what the doctor told me about beta #s, if I remember correctly:
ReplyDelete0-200 They would have me come back for a 2nd beta to make sure the number was rising
200-700 Probably a singleton, no 2nd beta
700+ Probably multiples
They gave me that info in the first phone call which was just to say "positive." The nurse called back a second time with the HCG # and said that at 621, it could be multiples or a singleton...we'd just have to wait and see on the US.
I am reallllly hoping it's no more than 2, like, BAD!
I hear ya. One or two is fine w/me. Three is a problem.
ReplyDeletewhoop whoop!! sooo happy for you! Did i just need to comment to get added as an author?
ReplyDeletemaybe not...this is goldelox btw
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to figure out how to make you guys authors. I think you need to be on my contact list or something, and I've been trying to send you all invites so we can all write posts here to our hearts' content. I'll get it figured out and we'll be churning out classic "D@ve SUCKS...and so does IF" posts in no time.
ReplyDeleteI think first you need to become a "follower" of my blog, then I think I can add you to my contacts and make you an author.
ReplyDeleteIt might be easiest if you emailed me your email address and I can send you an invite.
I made a special email for this blog and to communicate with you all, it's:
needyougirls at gmail dot com
KB, that's awesome! I knew it!
ReplyDeleteWell, guess I got rid of my "BabytoB" name afterall! Now I'm EricaB! :)
A warm welcome to you, EricaB! Thanks for coming to find us...it will be so nice to stay caught up with everyone.
ReplyDeleteI am humbled by your congratulatory messages. I'll try to deserve them!
<3 <3 <3 KB
Ok, I'll go w/ both names here. On the Google group I'll go w/ BabytoB so it's not as confusing (I hope!). I've had a hard time figuring out my screen names, and I consider myself pretty tech savvy. Argh!
ReplyDeleteThis Curiousme... I am still figuring out my way in this blog.
ReplyDeleteBut KB75 ... girl u kick ass! I was catching up and 2 mins ago I just read your depressing post abt second opinion and all... and then I come to this blog.... vola! 621... I had to read it again. I am soooo happy for you.
Curiousme...YAY! You found us. :D I can change your status from Lost to Found, that always makes me happy. If you'd like me to add you as an author for this blog, so you can post freely with your own stories and such, please send me an email with your email address and I'll send you an author invite.

Thank you so much for the congratulations, they mean a lot to me.
KB - you kick ass!!
ReplyDeleteAwww Jes <3
ReplyDeleteYeahhhhh KB for an awesome BETA. YOU GO GIRLFRIEND!!
ReplyDeleteHope the next ones just as good!
Thanks Krissy, you guys are too sweet. Interestingly enough, my doctor hasn't scheduled a second beta. He said if I was at 200 or below, we'd do another one to make sure it was going up...but anything above that we'd just wait 2 weeks for the first U/S. Am I the only one who is doing a single beta before U/S?
ReplyDeleteYaaaay! Congrats girl!
